Eating at Quentin's: Exploring the Best Eurasian Cuisine in Singapore

Follow Us as we share with you our recent dining experience at Quentin's Singapore, nestled within a very quaint neighbourhood along Ceylon Road. Serving authentic Eurasian cuisine at reasonably wallet-friendly prices, it is definitely a place to check out if you have an adventurous taste bud and are always on the lookout for delicious dishes that will excite you palate.

During our visit, we ordered 3 main courses as follows: (i) Pineapple Prawn Curry, (ii) Chicken Vindaloo and (iii) Chicken Curry Debal (aka Devil's Curry). We must say that all 3 dishes, though seemingly alike in appearance, provide a distinct dimension for enjoyment in the taste department. All the curry gravies were really aromatic and full of spices. Among the 3 dishes, the Pineapple Prawn Curry won our hearts for its very unique taste that is savoury, zesty yet sweet all at once! Not to mention the fresh succulent prawns which soaked up the gravy of this pretty excellent dish. You should definitely have a go at this when you visit them!

As a grand finale to our very hearty meal, we ordered Sugee Cake with a dollop of vanilla ice-cream as well as some Breudher Cake which has a unique identity of its own be a Dutch-Sri Lankan fusion sweet treat!

We recommend for all to visit Quentin's for their authentic, unpretentious dishes that spoke of a very rich heritage of the Eurasian community in Singapore. Savoring every bite of the palatable dishes is akin to gaining a better understanding to this very unique community. Fret not, if you are feeling stuffed from a very satisfying meal, as you can take a walk up to leve 4 of the Eurasian Community House to view some of the exhibits in the Eurasian Heritage Gallery! Entry is complimentary for all Singaporeans and Permanent Residents!
