Building upon their successful presentation to the Royal United Services Institute (RUSI) UK Project on Nuclear Issues (PONI) 2020 annual conference, this presentation focuses on exploring measures to combat the rapid advances in recent Hypersonic Weapons technology.
The presentation discusses the findings of the research, simulation and analysis of this challenging game of cat and mouse with the aim to advance the current discourse on how emerging Directed Energy Systems (DES), such as Laser Directed Energy, could be employed, to disrupt and destroy a hypersonic glide vehicle.
