Our Regenerative Paradise. Growing Food in Harmony

Описание к видео Our Regenerative Paradise. Growing Food in Harmony

Our aim has always been never to use any chemical fertilisers or insecticides on our farm and to grow only organic food. The land where the farm is also was not fertile when we started. We decided to practice regenerative agriculture and give life to the soil.

We make our own compost manure using kitchen left overs, rabbit feeds waste(weeds). We put all these into our compost pit until it breaks down then we use it on the farn to grow various vegetables like carrots, kale, beetroot etc. We also use chicken droppings and rabbit droppings manure after letting them sit for a few months. organic manure leads to very nutritious vegetables.

Our chicken also feed from the compost pit and the digging and scratching helps to aerate the soil and turn it over. The rabbits eat weeds from our farm( actually we never give them commercial feeds). The rabbit urine is a very good foliar fertiliser and insecticide. We use ratio of 1litre rabbit urine and 5 litres water for foliar fertiliser and 1 litre rabbit urine to 2 litres water for insecticide. Eggs shells are a rich source of calcium for plants. Don't throw them away.

Having a regenerative farm is very rewarding. You are helping the earth and at the same time giving yourself very nutritious and organic food.
