A guide to my first mountain summit of Vallunaraju, a 5,686m mountain in Peru's Cordillera Blanca.

It's an entry-level summit for keen mountaineers, though it's not a walk in the park. I had the most brilliant experience and it felt like I was on top of the world at the summit.
