This video is about the Grimme Varitron 470 Platinum, Potato Harvesting at Newthorpe in Yorkshire, England.
This is one of only a handful of machines in the UK and was a pleasure to watch operating.
Thanks to Pete Batty for letting me film his machine and also to Rosey and the rest of the guys for being so helpful and especially to Dan the driver for not minding me putting cameras all over his machine and flying a drone round and round just in front of his windscreen.
Well done Grimme on making this amazing machine capable of doing what it does. In dry conditions and good soil the potatoes look good enough to go straight into a bag and to a customer!
