Ingredients

Chintakayalu (Raw tamarind) - 9kgs
Kallu Uppu (white crystal salt) - 2kgs
Turmeric - 250 g
Fenugreek seeds - 100g

For kg measurement

Chintakayalu (Raw tamarind) - kg
Kallu uppu - 220 g
Turmeric - 2tbsp
Fenugreek seeds - 1spoon

Preparation
- Remove the stems, riped, black tamarind
- Wash them 5 to 6 times untili water gets clear
- Strain the water, dry them on cloth
- After that, crush them in ( Mortar and Pestle) Rolu
- Add kallu uppu & turmeric to raw tamarind
- After 75% of crushing add fenugreek seeds, mix well & remove it from the rolu
- Store in bowl & keep aside for one day
- Next day, mix it well & after that transfer to glass bowls, tupperwears & Ceramic Jars
- Don't Put wet hands, wet spoons in chintakaya thokku
- Chintakaya thokku is ready & store it for up to 2 to 3 years
