Wilson Trucker 2000 CB antennas installed in Kenworth

Описание к видео Wilson Trucker 2000 CB antennas installed in Kenworth

I have a KW T2000. I replaced antennas with Wilson's they work great. SWR is 1.05. The length of the video is how long it takes to remove & install. 11 mins to change out the antenna's. The radio is an older Cobra Weather. I used the built in SWR Meter. The truck has the original CB antennas. The fiberglass fire stick style. I was getting 1.2 swr , which is pretty good to begin with. They are about 3 feet long. The plastic coat is wearing off a little bit. I bought a couple of Wilson Trucker 2000 antennas from the Flying J. I installed em. I'm getting an SWR of just a little over 1 with the Tucker 2000's. I didn't even have to adjust the antennas. I just put the whip in down to the bottom. I was afraid I would have to be jumping in and out of the truck to adjust the antennas. They worked out just fine without any adjustment. So far thumbs up for the Wilson Trucker 2000. I'll have to see how they work out on the road, and try to report back. By the way, don't have someone adjust your SWR on your antenna while operating the radio. Read up on the dangers of Radio Frequencies (RF). Don't key up your radio while adjusting the antenna. It probably would have taken about 5 mins to change out these antennas if I wasn't using the ph to video. My vids are about help; selecting good products & avoiding poor products. They'er not for entertainment. It would be good idea to keep this in mind. ;)
