Who said the Camino Portuguese coastal is all along the coast, and flat? Well, it isn’t. We were inland all day and had rocks and mud to navigate. Oh, and don’t mention the steep hills. But we did it!! And it was very peaceful and beautiful. Today we saw the most pilgrims so far.

We did 10.32 miles. It poured rain before we left, so we started out in ponchos, but it stopped almost as soon as we left! It was beautiful the rest of the day, and after 4 miles we shed our jackets, too.

Both of us have thighs that keep cramping, especially when I try to stretch mine!
