Sergeant Ed Beal talks about the feelings and emotions a veteran has when they see stolen valor. It is not a victimless crime.

Sgt. Beal served two tours of duty in Vietnam. In his first tour he served as a Scout Dog Handler. During that tour, he fought in Tet, and Dak To and was the second man to walk in to Khe Sanh on April 8th, 1968 after the siege had been broken.

In his second tour, Sgt Beal served with the Hotel Company LRRP Rangers as well as the Apache Troop Blues, 1st of the 9th. He was with Sgt. Kregg Jorgenson the day he was shot in front of CBS News cameras (   • Vietnam War, 1970: CBS camera rolls a...  .

Sgt Beal received the Silver Star, Bronze Star and a Purple Heart (among several other medals) for his service in Vietnam.
