Semi Finals are here and I feel unstoppable after such a dominant day. As soon as I get grips and I’m about to snap him down, he just falls back into a guard so I begin my pass game. My opponent however goes into deep half which I have not worked with. I used my natural floating and balance abilities from two decades of skateboarding to maintain top and eventually take a shot at his back when he finally turtles. We fall into a weird position and I don’t know why but I shot an armbar I normally never would. Weirdly enough my confidence was so high I had no fear and snagged the tightest armbar I’ve ever put on for a third submission victory out of four matches. I did it, I’m onto the finals!
