Norwegian church in Rotherhithe

The Norwegian church and Seamen’s Mission in Rotherhithe, East London brought together Norwegian immigrants and their families in London to celebrate the opening of their refurbished St Olav’s Square. We got insight into the relaxed Sunday gatherings inside over a black “church coffee” whilst looking at the history of Scandinavian sailors in the former dock lands. Well worth a visit for any Londoner interested in a bit of Scandi life in the British capital.
