Honda BF115A start problem

Описание к видео Honda BF115A start problem

Troubleshooting a 115 H.P. Honda outboard motor's starting and low speed running issues. A discussion of the modestly complex fuel supply & delivery system's engineering, utilized on the programed fuel injected BF115A and BF130 models.

Since this video has been posted, the OEM in-line electric fuel pump has been replaced with a universal aftermarket EFI pump. Since Honda part 16735-zw5-004 has been superseded and virtually no longer supported, part # AFP E8445 was purchased at NAPA (summit racing origin?) and plumbed with an assortment of fittings & fuel line. That has restored start reliability. The main relay, Honda part 38580-ZW5-004 had also been replaced in troubleshooting the intermittant electric fuel pump, which seemed to be causing the start problems.

Frustratingly, the motor still seems to act as if there is water in the fuel at low RPMs.
