We start in Stožec, a small picturesque village in the Šumava National Park. From here, our path heads south. The route takes us through the beautiful Šumava landscape, where we can admire dense forests and rolling hills. After a few kilometers, we reach the area of Trojmezná Mountain, a significant natural site where the borders of the Czech Republic, Germany, and Austria meet.

Our journey continues east, gradually turning north towards the mountain’s peak. From here, we are rewarded with breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. The route then turns back west and northwest, passing through beautiful natural scenery, including several mountain streams.

Near the end of the route, we arrive at Plešné Lake, one of the most beautiful glacial lakes in Šumava. We replenished our water supplies at a nearby spring, which provided us with refreshment for the rest of the journey. Our route ends in the village of Jelení.

Just before the end, we spent the night at an emergency campsite near Plešné Lake, allowing us to enjoy the peace and beauty of the Šumava nature even after sunset.

The total length of the route is about 20 kilometers, perfect for a full-day hike to enjoy the beauty of Šumava and the tranquil atmosphere of this area.
