How to Write Better Emails in Grad School

Confession, I am a recovering email novelist... I once assumed long emails represent efforts, and I was proud of them.

I never realize how these emails could be ineffective and can confuse the readers.

Emails are not replacements for face-to-face discussion, emails are best used for
documentation of key meeting outcomes
summarize actionable items and deadlines
sharing documents
inviting feedback
