Jewel Changi Airport; Seeing Jewel Vortex; Getting Lost in Singapore and Finding Hotel 81 Geylang!

So, our day started beautifully. We had everything planned out (See the Jewel Light Show, Dinner at the airport, take the train to our hotel instead of hiring a GRAB car)... and believed nothing could go wrong on this day. Boy, were we in for a surprise!😯

Well, everything did transpire according to plan. It just went haywire when we decided to walk from Kallang Station to Hotel 81 Geylang.😭huhuhu😭

What a saga for our first day in the Lion City. It surely taught us A LOT. Let's start with:

"When you've already had a long day, just take a GRAB car!"🤣haha
.
But you know what? Because we practically walked a 5km-road, we became more familiar with the area, and it made us confident to ride the MRT in the following days (instead of taking a GRAB for every trip! Ang laki ng natipid namin!)👍👍👍

This experience is one for the books, and I want us to cherish the profound lesson of getting lost and finding our way.❤️❤️❤️
