Who buys a D bar J hat? All hats are creased by hand using a Jiffy Steamer. How long does it take to make a hat? Can they be worn in the rain? Will they shrink? David creases a Cav Hat and talks about famous people who wore them. David discusses some History of Hat making, including JB Stetson figuring out how to stiffen hats. David shows how to use his blocking machine(1860's, very few around). Where does hat fur come from? Portugal and Tennessee connection. Crown irons (1920) and their operation.
