Malaking hamon para sa bagong kalihim ng Department of the Interior and Local Government na si Jonvic Remulla ang gagawing pamumuno sa kagawaran dahil sa lawak ng sakop nito.

Sa kanyang unang araw sa pwesto, sinabi ni Remulla na tukoy na niya ang mga isyu na uunahin niyang tututukan at kabilang dito ang aniya’y “zero casualty” sa darating na eleksyon.
