SNOWBOXX Festival | Avoriaz 2024

Welcome to my SNOWBOXX Festival vlog in Avoriaz France🇫🇷⛷️

This is essentially a ski trip, a music festival AND a holiday all in one. The festival runs for 1 week during March every year & is incredible! There were artists such as Becky Hill, Sammy Virji, Goddard & so many more.

The apartment we stayed in was UN-REAL, we had the most amazing view of the mountains and could see Morzine through the valley. It was a ski-to-door access - so very convenient. It was also right next to a restaurant so easy if you don’t want to trek out in the evening.

There were 4 of us that stayed in this apartment, but it could easily fit about 8 people in there (1 double bed, 4 bunk beds & a huge sofa downstairs). There was a shower room & a separate bathroom (with a toilet) upstairs & a toilet downstairs. Apartment also includes a log burner, kitchen with oven, stove, kettle, coffee machine, dish washer & there was also a washing machine in the downstairs toilet.

We also had access to our own locker room that was included with our apartment to hold all of our ski equipment.

The ONLY issue we had was getting around Avoriaz. It is a ‘car-less’ ski resort & therefore the only form of transport was to either walk, ski, get a ride on a horse drawn sleigh or get a snowcat. We spent most of the holiday walking up and down ski slopes to get everywhere because the snowcats were very unreliable and where we were staying; it was very rare to see the horse drawn sleighs.

There are various different activities you can book at an additional cost - we booked ‘party on the piste’ where Goddard was playing & also ‘bottomless brunch’ that we didn’t end up going to.
