P1647 code Jaguar X-type O2 sensor replacement

In this video I show you how I replaced a Jaguar X-type upstream O2 sensor bank 2. It maybe helpful when one gets a P1647 fault code. As usual I repair my Jag using a minimal set of tools, nevertheless in this case the following tools are necessary: a special socket for oxygen sensors, 2 extensions and a ratchet.

Besides, I am also explaining how I make the air box easy removable. Surely, I don't urge anybody to repeat my way of installing the air box, it's your own responsibility if you do it in the same way.

And here I give you the number of an upstream wideband o2 sensor of Jaguar X-type: 1X43 9F472AA/AD DENSO 3110/3111. An AA one was installed on my car OEM, but I bought a pre-used AD modification from another 2.1 X-type, installed it and it is working properly.
By the way, downstream Jaguar X-type sensors (black plug) cannot be swapped with the upstream sensors (grey plug), because they are just switching between rich and lean and don't measure precisely the amount oxygen in the exhaust gas.

After Jaguar X-type o2 sensor replacement was completed, I had just to clean the p1647 code with a scanner and enjoy driving my Jag.
