Condenser VS Ribbon mic, Which is better for recording Trumpet

I’m Phill O’Neill from Australia and I hope you’re having a fantastic day. In this video I compare 2 of my favourite microphones from Rode. The NT2A and the NTR.

The NT2A is a large diaphragm condenser microphone with multi pattern and the NTR is an active ribbon microphone.

Both of the microphones in this test have NO EQ Compression or any processing of any kind. Running them through the Presonus XMAX preamps.
