Sailor's Knife Lanyard Knot, aka Single-Strand Diamond Knot

I was recently asked how I did this two tone lanyard knot so this is in response to that request. It's fairly simple in fact The Sailor's Knife Lanyard knot is the first decorative knot that I learned directly from The Ashley book of Knots.

Ashley lists 5 known names for this knot. The Sailors Knife Lanyard Knot, The Marling-Spike Lanyard Knot, Single-Strand Diamond Knot, Two-Strand Diamond Knot, and the Bosun's Whistle Knot. So take your pick, the paracord world probably has a few names as well.
