"Hornby" TT 120 9F Evening Star in the making

With no idea how long it will take Hornby to introduce a 9F I thought I would do a compromise one (shades of Minitrix lol). I managed to get an Arnold 2-10-2 non working tank cheap so thought I might be able to use the chassis in a Corgi Britannia.

The body is a little high as the Arnold motor is quite high and I am hoping to get a round nose/ball cutter to fit the Dremel and then remove a little more of the boiler inside to lower the body.

There are some more blocks of metal I need to remove but only when I take the wheels off, it was too risky to do with a fully assembled chassis.

As Arnold and Corgi come under the Hornby banner calling it a Hornby is appropriate.

Hopefully when the chassis and wheels are black and cylinders lifted it will look better.
