NEMESIS : DHAKA SESSIONS | Season 01 | Episode 01

With the backdrop of The Book Worm, a music friendly bookshop in Dhaka, DHAKA SESSIONS premieres with the hard hitting, thought provoking sounds of Nemesis.
Nemesis was formed by a group of friends from high school in 1999. After hitting the local circuit, Nemesis began to gain mass popularity and momentum. It didn’t take long for this band of 5 to become one of the biggest bands in Bangladesh.
Nemesis is considered by most as being the pioneers of alternative rock in Bangladesh. If you haven’t heard of nemesis before - you need to catch up.
Check out Nemesis’ three albums - Onneshon (2005), Tritio Jatta (2011), and Gonojowar (2017). They released several singles over the years including Joyoddhoni, Dushhopno, Dhushor Bhabona, Ami, Konodin, as well as their latest single Tumi Ami o Bhor released during the pandemic. - Lori Simpson
