Salvagnini panel bender: automatic bending of a polygonal panel

The P2 is the Salvagnini compact panel bender for lean, flexible production. In this video, the P2 automatically bends, in 134 seconds, a polygonal panel of galvanized sheet 0.8 mm thick.

In this production cycle, the panel bender performs many different machining typical of the refrigeration industry. The integrated hinges, which are made possible by both radius bends and flattened bends, are one of the most intriguing features of this panel. Integrating hinges in the panel allow the elimination of any secondary operations.
