Bunjal style cooking is a dry style of curry. It transforms any cut of meat, and organ meat into a tasty dish. This dish goes well with most Guyanese favorite, dhal & rice. Bunjal is also enjoyed with Roti and dhal puri .



Bunjal chicken liver
1.5 lbs. Chicken Liver
7 tsp Garam Masala
15 clove Garlic
1 Large onion
Wiri Wiri peppers
1 tsp black pepper
Salt to taste
Cilantro & Thyme optional.
Oil to cook.

Dhal
2.5 cup Red Split Lentils
1 medium onion
5 cloves Garlic.
½ tsp Turmeric
Ginger (Thumb size)
Spinach
Salt & pepper to taste.
