The Support Rollers (Material cast steel of Cr Mo type, heat treatable for air quenching and tempering like GS 42 Cr Mo 4 ) are in most cases made of cast steel shrunk-on to finished machined shafts (Material: special carbon steel for large forgings like CK35 or through hardened steel like 34 Cr Ni Mo6).
The roller profiles are either of the chamber type or anvil massive type with bored two to three holes for handling.
The liners are made of Aluminium–Zinc, with 32 % Al, 5 % Cu, and the balance Zn. This material is called “White Bronze” and has a bigger hardness, It has higher loads carrying capacity and wear resistance.

Force lubrication system & Hydrodynamic lubrication system make an oil film layer on the shaft. A separate water cooling system is applied for Oil & Bearing cooling purposes.
