Scrapping & Bluematching of Kiln Support Roller Bearings- Kiln Bearings Replacement-Gunmetal bearing - HYDRODYNAMIC BEARINGS SCRAPPING & BLUEMATCHING

Scoring on bearings liners can lead to hot bearings & elevated bearing temperatures which can even lead to Kiln stoppages when this temp goes beyond allowable set points.

If even after adjustments such issues isn't resolved, situation calls for the rescrapping of bearing liners.

Steps involved -
1. Rechecking buematching of the bearing liner with the spherical seating
2. Scrapping if required for desired contact
3. Scrapping of the bearing liner to create centre contact & oil pockets to enable wedge shape for the hydrodynamic lubrication process
4.Checking of the oil pockets through filler gauges

Note - The wedge shape/oil pocket is essential & must pe precisely made. The greater the check points , more accurate it gets
