In Greek mythology, Chronos (not to be confused with Zeus' father) is the personification of time and is often portrayed as a god. No doubt the Chronus is establishing ties with this mythical figure, since the graphic is all about the inner workings of a clock. Structurally, there are no changes between the Chronus and the regular Arai Defiant. Both helmets are using a composite shell construction and a shape that is derived from the popular Quantum helmet. Like the regular Defiant, the Chronus has been designed specifically for the aesthetics and needs of naked bikes, and uses the familiar super-plush interior materials that we have come to expect from Arai. Be warned though: you cannot go fast enough to turn back the gears on this clock. Or can you?
