Title: Percolation and Kesten's Theorem

Abstract: This talk is intended to introduce the idea of Bernoulli percolation. Starting of with basic inequalities, we will cover Russo's formula and introduce notion of critical probability, ergodicity, sub and super critical phases. We will prove some results regarding the sub-critical and super-critical phases concluding with Kesten's theorem for Z^2 lattice.
