President Ferdinand Marcos Junior said the Philippines is on the "frontline" of a battle for regional peace. Addressing Australia's Parliament today, he vowed to defend his homeland against foreign power. Mr Marcos is looking to shore up support in Manila's ongoing maritime disputes with Beijing in the South China Sea. Australia has backed a 2016 arbitral ruling that largely favoured the Philippines and invalidated China's expansive claim in the disputed waters. Buena Bernal reports.
