Preparing for Deo Tibba wasn’t just about packing the right gear; it was about preparing ourselves mentally for the isolation and dangers ahead. As a team of only two, every decision would have to be perfect. There was no room for error. Every misstep, every moment of doubt could cost us everything.

Focus on the most intense and dramatic moments: bad weather, tough terrain, moments of doubt or fear, and how you and your partner overcame them.

In the end, the risks we took on Deo Tibba were monumental, but the rewards were even greater. It wasn’t just about summiting a peak; it was about pushing ourselves to the very edge of what we thought possible. Together, we learned that sometimes, the greatest adventures are the ones you take with the smallest team, trusting each other with every step.
