Studio Egret West design and curate places that cultivate sustainable communities, amplify nature and prioritise the public realm. On the 28th of September, Co-Fouder Christophe Egret, discussed his first-hand thoughts and reflections on "rootedness" - the value of embedding places within their context and communities.

Christophe believes in the layering and symbiosis of memorable architecture, strategic urban design and ecology-driven landscape - all of which contribute to designing rich and diverse neighbourhoods. This is echoed by the philosophy of the Studio, which focuses on places that evolve naturally over time, with compelling narratives and identities. Over the last two decades, the 70-strong team have delivered some of the UK’s most exciting, high-quality placemaking projects.
