Viewer's Fave: Manisha Seafood, Colva Beach, South Goa

A few days back, Maria, Roma and I visited Manisha Seafood Restaurant in Colva. Quite a few viewers had asked us to visit Manisha. We too have eaten there in the past, long before we began vlogging. The squid in rechead masala we started off with, brought back good memories of Manisha. But how was the main course? Let’s find out.

Manisha is right on Colva beach, 10 minutes from Margao’s KTC bus stand, in South Goa. Drive south toward the beach from Colva circle and as you reach the end of the road, turn left into the small parking area. You’ll see Manisha on the left, next to the shops.

This close to the sea, you’ll experience both the sounds of the surf and the sea breeze in this restaurant. When we visited, tourists kept coming in and almost all were having the Goan fish thali.

We too opted for the fish thali, Maria choosing leppo (sole fish), Roma kingfish and I, modso (lemon fish). But to start, we tried the mankio masala (squid in rechead masala). We really enjoyed the rechead. The masala was sweet, the way we like it.

Then came the thalis. A very simple fish curry rice plate, with the fish of choice in rawa fry, some kismur, some bhaji, salad and pickle. There was no sol kadi. We found it okay, neither bad, nor good.
