Europe trip 2024 - Day 6 - Norway in Nutshell in Tamil with English subtitles

This video is about the sixth day of our trip, during which we embarked on the famous scenic "Norway in Nutshell" journey. As mentioned previously, the fjord landscape is a must-see in Norway.

We started our day early at 6:00 am by taking a train from Oslo to Myrdal. Myrdal, situated at an altitude of 1300 meters, offered awe-inspiring views of rivers, waterfalls, lush mountains, and snow-covered lakes creating a truly heavenly landscape.

From Myrdal, we boarded a Flåmsbana train, where "bana" means railway line. The first scenic attraction we encountered on this train was the Kjofossen waterfall. They stopped the train for 10 minutes to admire the beauty of the waterfall.It has been exactly 100 years since this railway line was built. We reached the place called Flam while enjoying all the features of the mountains: steep mountains covered with greenery, deep gorges that cause panic, and white waterfalls.

we reached Flam. What a beautiful place! There was a good crowd, all ready to travel in the fjord. Cruising through the calm, deep blue-green sea between the steep mountains was a dramatic experience. At some points, the narrow passage made it seem like the cruise was going to hit the mountain. After two hours of travel, we disembarked from the cruise at Gudvangan and were greeted by a breathtaking waterfall swaying in the wind. A bus awaited to take us to our respective destinations, and we headed to Voss Kulturhus. From there, we caught the next train to Bergen at 7:30 PM, arriving at 8:40 PM. We stayed overnight at the Thon Hotel near the old port.
