Bon Jovi | Legendary Concert at Sportpaleis van Ahoy | Rotterdam 1989

A show that's well-known, yet still worth rediscovering all over again! For a long time, I thought the band was better than on almost any other night here, but after having listened to most shows from that period, it was more or less the "average" performance quality from the summer leg in the US through Australia and all the way back to Europe. Doesn't take much away from this, just highlights how insanely good they ignored the exhaustion to put on a stunning rock show!
Even though about 80% of the concert have become available as Soundboard sources by now (they were recording for "Eggs & Whiskey", a live album that never came to fruition), a master recording from the audience that appeared made me decide to go another route. It has captured the ambiance of the show so much better than the sterile Soundboard mixes of the night, has some analog charme and still is sounding very good!
Video grain and noise was lifted and the audio track remastered. Special thanks to a good friend of mine for having dubbed it perfectly!
