Railfanning in Selma, NC during CSX's Maintenance Curfew: ft. SD70MACe & Amtrak EQP. Move -3/20/2021

Some scenes from a day around Selma, NC during the three week maintenance curfew on CSX's A-line, South End Subdivision from mid to late March (filmed 3/20/2021). During the day, I shot NS P01, 350, and eastbound P98 along with a few Amtrak trains including the Silver Star, Palmetto, and Carolinian. That evening, action on the CSX A-line picked up after the maintenance curfew was lifted.

The highlights that night were; a relatively rare SD70MACe rebuild lead southbound Q471, a rare northbound Amtrak equipment move (symboled P932), and southbound hotshot intermodal Q031 came through with doublestacks upfront - a new but short lived service between Richmond and Jacksonville.
