Railfanning in Selma & Pine Level, NC: Featuring 2 Military Trains & an SD70MAC - 11/30/2019

On Saturday, November 30, 2019, I stopped in Selma before daybreak, attempting to get an eastbound military train with BNSF power on the NS H line. The Military train (057) did not show up till mid-afternoon. So while I waited, some other nice suprise catches came through. Two NS grain trains came through, one right after the other (going opposite directions), A southbound CSX military train (W804) passed through (which I was not expecting), an SD70MAC leading CSX Q470, the Seaboard System sticker unit on Q401, and of course the military train on NS finnaly showed up. Also, something to take note of, the Amtrak palmettos were extra long that day for the Thanksgiving holiday travels.

I also spent a short amount of time in Pine Level (just east of Selma) to get P98 (Selma to Chocowinty manifest) and the same 52Z grainer heading for Kinston.
