Royal Enfield 535 GT Asbo 40 testing standard vs performance exhaust and confirm fuel venting ok.

I realize we have already seen Asbo 42 here, and Asbo 43 is in the pipeline, but this has been an earlier, stalled project which was to be fitted with the same performance cams as Asbo 24 and 33, but these cams have not been available in recent times, so we had to make do with the standard ones and do the best we could for now.
Following on from the last outing to an mot test, where we were blighted by engine stoppages, thanks to what turned out to be a trapped fuel tank breather pipe. The first run in this clip was to finally get an impression of how this machine might perform with the various upgrades, but still with the standard exhaust system, which, if nothing else, is extremely heavy. Next, the following run with the performance exhaust system in place was cut short when I remembered I hadn't changed the camera battery!
Finally, a run taking in the usual short test route was completed, where I am certain there was a marked increase in performance with the new, performance exhaust system fitted - it must be a benefit just ditching all that weight and the machine sounds like it means business, as well!
