What happens when you stretch and why does it improve your fitness, injury susceptibility and even strength? Stretching is definitely one of the most underestimated factors in sports, so here a quick summary: Why stretching is good for your body!

I will explain step by step the benefits for you and on your body, but in order to understand these, you have to know what happens on a molecular/biochemical and physiological level when we do stretching exercises.
