Amit Shah's Resignation and Apology Demanded: Congress Passes Unanimous Resolution

ಮಹಾತ್ಮ ಗಾಂಧಿಜಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಡಾ. ಬಾಬಾಸಾಹೇಬ್ ಅಂಬೇಡ್ಕರ್ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಅವಮಾನ ಮಾಡಿರುವ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಗೃಹ ಸಚಿವ ಅಮಿತ್ ಶಾ ರಾಜೀನಾಮೆ‌ ನೀಡಿ ದೇಶದ ಜನತೆಗೆ‌ ಕ್ಷಮೆ ಕೇಳಬೇಕಂದು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಪಕ್ಷದ ಕಾರ್ಯಕಾರಿಣಿ ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಮ್ಮತದ ‌ನಿರ್ಣಯ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಯಿತು ಎಂದು ಎಐಸಿಸಿ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ಕೆ.ಸಿ.ವೇಣುಗೋಪಾಲ ‌ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ಗುರುವಾರ ಬೆಳಗಾವಿ ಟಿಳಕವಾಡಿಯ ವೀರಸೌಧದ ಗಾಂಧಿ ಬಾವಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಎಐಸಿಸಿ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಮಲ್ಲಿಕಾರ್ಜುನ ಖರ್ಗೆ ನೇತೃತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಕಾರ್ಯಕಾರಿಣಿ ಸಭೆಯ ಬಳಿಕ ಸುದ್ದಿಗಾರರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು. ಗಾಂಧಿಜಿ ಅವರು ನಡೆಸಿ ಐತಿಹಾಸಿಕ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಅಧಿವೇಶನಕ್ಕೆ ನೂರು ವರ್ಷ ಪೂರೈಸಿದ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಜೈ ಪಾಪು, ಜೈ ಅಂಬೇಡ್ಕರ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಜೈ ಸಂವಿಧಾನ ಘೋಷಣೆಯನ್ನು ಡಿ.2025ರವರೆಗೂ ಅಭಿಯಾನ ನಡೆಸಲು ನಿರ್ಧರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ‌ಮಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿ ರ್ಯಾಲಿ, ಸಮಾವೇಶ ಹಮ್ಮಿಕೊಂಡು ತಳಮಟ್ಟದಿಂದ ಪಕ್ಷ ಸಂಘಟನೆ ಮಾಡುವ ಸಂಕಲ್ಪ್ ಮಾಡಲಾಯಿತು.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah should resign and apologize to the people of the country for insulting Mahatma Gandhi and Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, stated AICC General Secretary K.C. Venugopal. This unanimous resolution was passed during the National Congress Party Working Committee meeting.

Speaking to reporters on Thursday after the meeting held at Gandhi Bhavan in Veer Soudha, Tilakwadi, Belagavi, under the leadership of AICC President Mallikarjun Kharge, Venugopal said, "On the occasion of the centenary of the historic Congress session led by Mahatma Gandhi, it was decided to launch the 'Jai Bapu, Jai Ambedkar, and Jai Samvidhan' campaign until December 2025. The party has resolved to strengthen its grassroots organization through rallies and conventions at the local level."
