কলকাতার বাসিন্দা গৌরব গুহ-র জীবনের রোমাঞ্চকর কাহিনী Addiction-র ভয়ঙ্কর অন্ধকারের সঙ্গে লড়ে জীবনের আলোয় ফিরে আসার গল্প। কিন্তু সব Challenges-কে Overcome করে কিভাবে গৌরব বাঁচতে শিখলেন জীবনে আবার? সেই কাহিনীই এবার Josh Talks Bangla-র মঞ্চে।
কলকাতা শহর, শহরের নস্টালজিয়া বলতেই দুর্গাপুজো, গান, হাওড়া ব্রিজ, ভিক্টোরিয়া মেমোরিয়াল-এর সঙ্গে আরও যে ছবিগুলো আমাদের চোখের সামনে ভেসে ওঠে, তার মধ্যে রাস্তার ধারে মাটির ভাঁড়ে চা-র কথা না বললেই নয়।
আর গানের সঙ্গে চা যখন মেলে, বাঙালি-কে কে-ই বা আটকাতে পারে! শহরের বুকে ‘চা ও নচিকেতা’ নামে একটা চায়ের দোকান খুলে রীতিমত ছোটখাটো বিপ্লব করে ফেলেছেন কলকাতার বাসিন্দা গৌরব গুহ। অথচ, চলার শুরুটা মোটেই মসৃণ ছিল না তাঁর। যৌবন বয়সে বিভিন্ন ছোটখাটো নেশার জিনিষ দিয়ে শুরু করলেও গৌরব অচিরেই জড়িয়ে পড়েন সর্বনাশা ড্রাগের নেশার জালে। মাদকাসক্ত হয়ে এমন কোন ভয়ঙ্কর কাজ নেই, যা গৌরব করেন নি। নিজের মায়ের শাড়ি যৌনপল্লীর মহিলাদের বিক্রি করা থেকে মাঝরাতে অ্যালার্ম দিয়ে উঠে চুরি করতে বেরোনো – গৌরব ক্রমশ আরও তলিয়ে যাচ্ছিলেন ড্রাগের নেশায়।
কিন্তু শেষমেশ তাঁর আত্ম-উপলব্ধি তাঁকে বের করে আনে ড্রাগের কবল থেকে। আমাদের সামনে গৌরব জানিয়েছেন, মাদকাসক্ত অবস্থা থেকে নেশামুক্ত হওয়া কোন একদিনের ম্যাজিক নয়, বরং এটা প্রতিদিনের একটা নিরন্তর লড়াই। প্রতিদিন আজও সতর্ক থেকে আত্মসংযম দিয়ে গৌরবকে এড়িয়ে যেতে হয় নেশার হাতছানি।

Apart from Durga puja, music, Howrah bridge and Victoria memorial, the iconic thing that represents the nostalgia of Kolkata is indeed roadside tea in mud-pot.
And, when tea and music come together, who can stop a Bengali? On the heart of Kolkata, Gourav Guha has established his tea shop named ‘Cha O Nochiketa’. But the starting of his journey was not at all very smooth. From the very young age, Gourav started with minor tobacco materials, but soon he was addicted to drugs. Dangerous addiction of drug led Gourav to do insane things like stealing his mother’s saree and selling them to the prostitutes of red-light area.
But Gourav’s self-realization dragged him out of this addiction of drug. He has confessed that, the journey from being an addict to a clean person is not a one-day-magic or so, instead it is a struggle of everyday that he must fight.
