About our guest : Cris Ross has been Chief Information Officer of Mayo Clinic since 2012. Earlier, he held business and technology leadership roles with Surescripts, CVS / MinuteClinic, and UnitedHealth Group. He was voted Healthcare CIO of the Year in 2022 by Inspire CIO.

A two-time cancer survivor, he is the co-author of “Diagnosed” with Ed Marx and speaks often about improvement of patient experience. He has served on advisory boards for many U.S. government agencies. He is past chair of the Board of HIMSS (Healthcare Information Management Systems Society). He was educated at the University of Minnesota and Yale University.
