Date and Walnut Cake

Recipe

200g of chopped medjool dates
200ml of boiling water
1 tsp of Baking soda

100g soft dark brown sugar
2 large eggs
60g melted butter
2tbsp of treacle
250g of plain flour
2 tsp of Baking powder
120g of Chopped Walnuts

Frosting

75g of Butter
100g of Icing Sugar
200g of Philadelphia Cream Cheese
1tsp of Vanilla Extract
1 tbsp of lemon juice

Bake in a 2 pound/900g tin on Conventional oven at 180C for 40 minutes
