Chicago CUBS at New York METS 7/29/84 (DH) Original WGN & WOR Broadcasts

Original WGN Broadcast with Harry Caray, Steve Stone and Milo Hamilton of Game 1 of the Double Header on Banner Day at Shea Stadium. Game 2 is a partial WOR Broadcast with only bits and pieces of the first few innings. Recorded and Digitalized off some pre recorded VHS tapes ive had since the early 90s and was able to restore what remained on those tapes and up on the Phenia Films MLB archive channel for the first time.
Game one starting pitchers are Steve Trout (9-5) for Chicago and Walt Terrell (8-7) as Steve Trout pitches a complete game shutout giving up 7 hits and great control walking none while striking out 6. 1B Leon Durham goes 2 for 3 with an RBI and a run scored. Walt Terrell pitches pretty good himself going 8 innings (replaced by Doug Sisk for the 9th) Terrell gives up 2 earned runs on 5 hits, striking out 6 and walking 3. Cubs move up in the standings only a couple games out, with this sweep of the double header in New York.
Game 2 is the partial game WOR Broadcast with Ralph Kiner, Tim McCarver and Steve Zabriski with some between games of the DH festivities of banner day at Shea, and includes Steve Zabriski interview of WOR-TV weather man Loyd Lindsay Young. Game has only a few full innings 1st and 2nd but just bits n pieces of the game that was on the VHS tape.
