Tales of Eternia Farah Solo: Valkyrie [No Items/Hardcore/No Damage]

Nice to have a fight that feels fair in Eternia for once lol.





Strategy:
Derris Emblem is a must have accessory for this fight. Without it, Valkyrie can use an arte called Guard Impact to counter my attacks.

Valkyrie is a rather straight-forwards fight. All I have to do is dodge her attacks and then counter her. She can pretty much be countered after every attack she does with Death Blossom (or Eagle Rage but I find it to be unreliable as an offensive option in this fight) and is most vulnerable after using Valkria Strike. I don't actually have to move to dodge her flame pillar attack, as it's a predictive attack meant to hit me as I'm moving in.

Valkyrie's best and most threatening attack is Valkrie Protector. She has a chance to use this attack after being reduced to a certain HP threshold and can be seen as her Mystic Arte. She does a flurry of attacks which shoots off a bunch of orbs that do damage. After the flurry, she insta-casts Ray. Basically, I have to steer very clear of Valkyrie during the flurry then use Eagle Rage-Mirage in order to dodge the Ray. Once she uses Valkrie Protector, she gains access to an attack where she throws her sword. This attack is pretty dangerous because it actually gives her some super armor. After Valkrie Protector, I think it's safer to use Eagle Rage as an engage rather than Death Blossom due to this sword throw attack.
