Raiden, now using is good guy persona as Big Bear, is a pro wrestler from Australia. In the first Fatal Fury tournament, he was hired by Geese to be a member of his gang after seeing him winning fighting with ease. However, he loses to Andy Bogard and after Geese's empire fall, he returns to Australia. During this time, he wishes to reinvent himself and create the persona known as Big Bear, a fan favourite type of wrestler who is actually a friendly and easygoing man. Despite losing early in the tournament, he became friends with some of the competitors, including Andy who defeated him in the first tournament.

Big Bear is the most powerful character in terms of damage input and he is also the character with the less special moves. However, he has seven different types of throw, the most in the game. His two special moves are his Giant Bomb which consists him to crouch before rushing with his elbow toward the opponent. This move allows him to avoid projectile and takes priority on many special moves. His second special move is the Super Drop Kick, which will deal high damage. His desperation move consists of him performing a big fire breathing toward his opponent.
