Osree Qb 1000 + QB 2000 Series LED Indoor Gardening Light Review & PAR Testing - 2021 Grow Light Review

Today I look at the Osree QB 1000 as well as the Osree QB 2000 quantum board style LED grow lights. These indoor gardening lights are very affordable, budget-friendly options that will cover a 2x2' or a 4x2' respectively. There is nothing fancy or extra about these lights. They don't use name brand parts or top-end components, though that is reflected in the relatively low price of these indoor growing lights.

As always, we start by testing the PAR and include a detailed PPFD map of these Osree lights to give you an idea of the output of each unit. This is by no means the best or highest end light out there, but as far as price and value go, it's not a bad option. The efficacy rating came out to around 1.9 umol/j. It is fairly competitive when looking at other LED grow lights that we have tested.

Next, we look at operating temperatures and the heat output along with the energy consumption and wattage draw from the wall. It runs fairly warm and it is recommended to use a fan to cool the lights and your garden space to achieve a longer lifespan of the LEDs.
