Jake Arrieta Tribute | Jake Arrieta’s Best Moments With The Cubs

Описание к видео Jake Arrieta Tribute | Jake Arrieta’s Best Moments With The Cubs

Jake Arrieta is a Chicago Cub Hero. He was just any old horrible pitcher that came from the Baltimore Orioles in 2013. When he came up from the minors that year, he showed hope. The next year was the year that he almost had a no-hitter in Boston but came a few outs short. In 2015 everything changed, he had his first no-hitter against the dodgers and won the national league Cy-Young that year. Lets also not forget his Complete Game shutout of the Pittsburgh Pirates in the Wild Card game that snapped the 12 year playoff win drought. He was by far my favorite player on the team. In 2016 he was almost as good as 2015 Jake. He got another no-hitter against the reds in the early part of the season. He was still awesome even though his 20-0 strech of won games was broken against the diamondbacks. Later that season in the playoffs, he was incredible. He went through the Dodgers like nothing. Then came the world series and he was scheduled to pitch Game 6 which the Cubs were still down by one game and were facing elimination. He came in and had a game of a lifetime and sent the Cubs to Game 7. The Cubs won the world series for the first time in 108 years. Jake Arrieta went from being a horrible pitcher with the Orioles to being on of the Best pitchers in the game 2 years later. This shows you that he was committed to help the Cubs win a championship and they did. I am sure every single Cubs fan will never forget his heroics. We may have gotten Yu but Jake's legacy will last forever. Thank you Jake For Everything. You will definitely be missed in Chicago. Forever Grateful.
