Companies use false marketing, showing lots of tomatoes on the front of the pack and, even in ads, portraying it as if it’s made with fresh tomatoes.

But in reality, they add additives like thickeners and preservatives for texture and long shelf life.

The real issue is misleading marketing, especially aimed at kids.

We want kids to be smart consumers who see beyond the packaging and know the truth about what they’re eating.
