My Life with AIDS - David in Lima, Ohio

Описание к видео My Life with AIDS - David in Lima, Ohio

Fifteen years after receiving his AIDS diagnosis, David still feels the stigma of living with AIDS in rural Ohio. Along with the challenges of paying his medical bills, David's compromised immune system makes it difficult for him to work.

But thanks to the AIDS Resource Center of Dayton, Ohio, David receives medical support and free transportation to doctor's visits, so he can stay healthy despite his positive status.

David says, "I realize now I didn’t do anything but it doesn’t make it any easier. It just means I’ve got to do stuff now to make myself better and that’s what I intend on doing. I’ve already told my doctors I’m gonna be the oldest person living with aids. So he’s already got me down for that and they’re planning on making me live that long. And I plan on doing it."

Our donors are the heroes providing people like David the feel they need to survive and thrive. You can join them and change lives today by donating at http://broadwaycares.org/donate.
